Calling All Women to Provence’s Personal Growth Retreat

Calling All Women to Provence’s Personal Development Retreat

Provence has a way of gently slowing you down — easing you out of the rush and into a softer rhythm. The distractions fall away, the noise quietens, and suddenly the things that truly matter feel closer, clearer.

This April, YOLO Travel invites you to sink into that calm with a four-night women’s retreat designed to help you unwind, reflect and reconnect with yourself. Set at Le Galinier, a charming boutique hideaway in the village of Lourmarin, the retreat blends mindful movement, transformational coaching and the unhurried charm of the French countryside.

More Than A Getaway

Calling All Women to Provence’s Personal Development Retreat

From 16 to 20 April 2026, your home will be Le Galinier, a beautifully restored Beaumier boutique hotel set in the peaceful village of Lourmarin. Think shuttered windows, wild gardens, terracotta rooftops, and that unmistakable feeling of being held by the countryside. Each guest enjoys her own ensuite room — a private haven for rest, journaling, and deep reflection.

This retreat isn’t simply a getaway. It’s a reset, a recalibration and an invitation to return to yourself.

Your Provence Base: Le Galinier

Arriving in Marseille, your driver will greet you at the airport before a 50-minute scenic drive to Lourmarin. Le Galinier feels like entering a beloved country home — with fireplaces, leafy gardens, and cosy corners perfect for quiet reflection.

It offers free Wi-Fi and bicycle rentals for exploring, along with the warm French hospitality that Provence is famous for. Once settled, you’ll enjoy light refreshments and meet your two YOLO Luminaries, whose combined expertise forms the transformative framework of the retreat.

A Glimpse into Your Journey

The itinerary combines mindfulness, movement, personal development workshops, journaling rituals and moments of joy — each set within the natural rhythms of Provence.

  • Day 1 — Arrival, Intention Setting & Nurturing Flow

Georgie guides a soft stretch and nurturing flow session to decompress the travel tension after check-in. Later, Georgina leads an Open Circle and sets intentions — a soft place to explore what you plan on gaining, releasing, or encountering. Dinner is at L’Ormeau in Lourmarin, followed by guided relaxation and storytelling at the hotel later on.

  • Day 2 — Stress & Clarity

Start with sunrise meditation and gentle movement before breakfast on the terrace. Georgina’s morning workshop tackles stressors, boundaries and good actions. After lunch in the village,  you’ll design a personal action plan, followed by a nature walk soundtracked by a wellness reflection from Georgie. Highlight: a pétanque competition on the terrace, paired with Provence wine,  then journaling and meditation under the evening sky.

  • Day 3 — The Inner Critic & Champagne-Coloured Villages

After sunrise Pilates, breakfast offers a gateway to the Inner Critic Workshop—a powerful workshop that addresses the elimination of self-doubt. The afternoon ends with a guided trip to three of the Luberon’s most beautiful villages: Cucuron, Ansouis and Lauris. The evening sees Georgina deepen the emotional resilience work before sinking into a calming meditation and breathwork session with Georgie.

  • Day 4 — Letting Go & Looking Forward

Look forward to some meditation at sunrise, a gentle hike, and gently settling into the day. Georgina’s Emotional Backpack exercise can help you shed old stories and restore inner trust. After lunch — and then some free time in the village — you’ll write a Future Self Letter — a note that grounds sustainable change and emotional clarity. Drinks and journaling on the terrace joyfully round out your last evening in Provence.

  • Day 5 — Gratitude & Farewell

Your final morning starts with meditation, and concludes with a closing session to recognise your progress. You will reflect on your major takeaways, new emotional tools and the commitments to carry home. Your chauffeur then swings by after breakfast to take you to Marseille — refreshed, grounded, and reset— en route back to London.

For women craving transformation without pressure, structure without rigidity, and companionship without judgement, Provence in April offers the perfect pause.

Hi there! I’m Megan, an absolute lover of words, literature, books, stories, anything that has to do with writing, reading, imagining. Because of my passion, I decided to make writing my life, and with that, I decided to study BA Languages at the University of Pretoria and am happy to report that I made my dream come true by graduating and becoming a travel writer. During my final year I wrote for my campus newspaper, the PDBY, where I learned to trust my writing voice. Now, as I sit here writing my petit little bio, I feel more in love with writing than I’ve ever been. Turns out, like much of my personality, my writing can equally showcase both the calm and put-together, as well as the crazy.
