Saudi Arabia is a country in Western Asia and covers the bulk of the Arabian Peninsula. This country is an absolute monarchy and an Islamic theocracy. It has one of the world’s largest economies and is the 28th richest country in the world. It is an arid, sparsely populated kingdom of the Middle East. Saudi Arabia only recently opened to international, non-Muslim travellers. It is home to the most pristine diving spots and jaw-dropping landscapes like the Empty Quarter, the world’s largest region. The most beautiful places to visit in Saudi Arabia compete with those of Egypt and America, like the tombs and canyons respectively. It’s home to Wadi Al Disah near Tabuk and Hegra, near Al Ula. Umluj is also very intriguing as Saudi Arabia’s version of the Maldives. Umluj is categorized by island hopping, snorkelling, diving, marine life spotting, sunbathing, beach jogging and more. Saudi Arabia is also home to Al Balad in Jeddah, a historical quarter of the city that is crowned as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The houses in Al Balad are made from coral stone and are rather ancient-looking. The Edge of the World is also becoming a more popular tourist destination. This spot lies just west of Riyadh. Moreover, Diriyah is another striking, quintessentially Arabian spot. It’s an ancient desert city enveloped by the green oasis of Wadi Hanifa, located a few kilometres outside Riyadh. In Saudi Arabia one can dive, snorkel, camel ride, road trip and feast on healthy Arabian food.
